A note from the educator
I kept seeing the same moment in students’ faces.
They could explain the concept back to me. Then the question changed.
After 10 years of teaching, I’ve learned to pay close attention to that moment. Often, students don’t need another page of information. They need a clearer way to see the structure and recognize what the question is really asking.
In a long sentence, that can mean finding the main verb after an interrupting clause. In Math, it can mean reading the target before reaching for a formula. In science, it often means connecting two familiar stages with the word “because.”
